Drew Greiwe pitched two seasons for the Eagles Baseball program in 2012 and 2013. A native of Macon, Missouri, Greiwe helped build the program into a championship contender during his time in Fayette. As a senior, he was named the Heart Pitcher of the Year and a Heart First Team All-Conference selection, posting a 9-1 record through 11 starts with eight complete games, including a perfect game against Graceland on April 7, 2013. He was named both the Heart and NAIA National Pitcher of the Week for his performance against the Yellowjackets. As a member of the 2013 program, Greiwe and the Eagles won the conference regular-season championship and conference tournament championship, while also qualifying for the program's first-ever appearance in the NAIA national tournament. They would be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018. He finished his career with a 16-3 record in two years on the bump and is still second all-time in career earned run average (2.57). He is also No. 10 all-time in career strikeouts (155). Greiwe was also recognized as the Estes Male Athlete of the Year.
