Kansas City, Mo. - 18 Central Methodist student-athletes were named to the Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete Winter list, announced by the national office on Wednesday.
Women's Basketball led the way with eight honorees, while men's and women's wrestling each had four.
Men's Basketball: Christian Barbieri
Women's Basketball: Alanna Crumley, Alyssa Beaumont, Bryann Magers, Haley Henderson, Kailey Franklin, Kyley Magers, Renee Finke, Sa'mya Stevens
Women's Bowling: Lauren Williams
Men's Wrestling: Gavin Shoush, Charlie Fitzgerald, Jacob Henson, Mitchell Huber
Women's Wrestling: Corinne McClure, Emily Neumann, Shianne Whited, Tambria Wilson
To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year.
