After 35 years in the insurance industry, Elaine Green changed her career in the Fall of 2022 to become the Athletic Operations Business Manager and Assistant to the Athletic Director at Central Methodist.
In this role, Elaine assists the administrative team with strategic planning processes and decision making for the department. Additionally, she handles the athletic budget and all transportation requests for the athletic programs.
Elaine was given the title of Senior Woman Leader in the Fall of 2023, and represents women in leadership and management of college sports for CMU. This role allows her to be an advocate for student-athletes, serving as a mentor and resource for direct reports and other athletic staff members.
She is active with the CMU Association of Student Athletes (ASA), promoting collaboration within student-athletes and encouraging community involvement through various volunteer opportunities. Elaine is also the coordinator of the annual Dr. James M. Luetjen Golf Tournament, and is a key team member of the CMU Athletic Auction planning committee, with both events serving as fundraisers to support all athletic programs.
Elaine is a native of Boonville, Missouri and enjoys all outdoor activities and spending time with her grandkids.
