ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Central Methodist (25-21-1) faces�Peru State at�noon CDT�Saturday in�the Championship Game�of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament.

The Eagles dispatched Evangel and Avila from the tournament on Friday by scores of 7-5 and 10-3, respectively. The Wildcats are the only team to have defeated the Eagles in the postseason.

If Central Methodist defeats Peru State on Saturday, then both teams will play a winner-take-all game for the conference tournament title at 3:30 p.m. The winner of the league tournament will receive an automatic birth in the NAIA National Tournament.
