Fayette, Mo. Central Methodist University head baseball coach Nate Breland announced Wednesday, the signing of outfielder Mylo Hommes (Elk River, Minn.). Hommes signs with CMU, after previously attending Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. Hommes is the fifth player to sign with CMU this offseason, and second from Anoka-Ramsey Community College; joining Joe Lewis.

"Mylo (Hommes) has proved to be a very good hitter," said CMU head baseball coach Nate Breland. "He has the ability to hit for contact and power. He will be a strong addition to our outfield and our strength program."

Mylo Homes will begin his junior year of school this upcoming fall at Central Methodist University. Hommes spent the first two years of his college life at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. This past season, Hommes appeared in 35 games for the Golden Rams and hit .377, with one homerun and 37 RBI's. Homes finished with 29 runs scored, 15 doubles, an on-base percentage of .435 and a slugging percentage of .494. Following the season, Hommes was named to the All-MCAC Team, and the All-Region 13 Team.

"I am very grateful for the opportunity I have been given to be a part of such an amazing baseball program," said Mylo Hommes. "What really drew me to the program, was how the coaches made it feel like I've known them for years. They are amazing guys that really care for you on and off the diamond! I can't wait for this offseason, so I can train with the coaches and work hard in the weight room, so I can contribute and make an impact this upcoming season."
