Kansas City, Mo.� The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Wednesday that 353 baseball student-athletes have been named 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Baseball Scholar-Athletes. Among the 353 honored, include Central Methodist University senior Brennan Hurley (Elsberry, Mo.), junior Jakob Junker (Warrenton, Mo.), senior Jeremy Karasewski (Cortland, Ill.), senior C.J. Regan (Dixon, Mo.), and senior Jacob Stump (Kansas City, Mo.).

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
