KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Mason Schwellenbach (SR/Saginaw, Mich.), a Preseason All-American selection, was back to exceptional form this Saturday in the nightcap game of a doubleheader in the game against the No. 10 ranked Oklahoma City Stars in Oklahoma City, Okla. This marks the fourth career Pitcher of the Week honor for the standout on the mound, who picked up the recognition three consecutive times last season.

Schwellenbach posted six solid innings with six strikeouts, three walks, and just one earned run. He now has 14 strikeouts on the year through 10.1 innings and recorded his first win of the early season.

The Eagles will look to continue their efforts this weekend in Alexandria, Louisiana in a doubleheader on Saturday against Champion University and a doubleheader against Louisiana State University- Alexandria on Sunday, each starting at 12 PM.
