The Eagles improve their overall record to 7-1.
In the first game of the series, Central jumped out to a 2-0 lead on No. 2 USAO in the Top of the 2nd before the Drovers responded with a run in the 3rd and three in the 4th to take a 4-2 lead. The Eagles responded with a run in the next half inning to trim the lead to 4-3.

Nick Merkel got the start on the bump, earning the win after tossing five innings and giving up only two hits on four runs while striking out eight batters. Macias led the offense with a .750 batting average, including three hits, two home runs and six RBI.
In the third game of the tourney against No. 14 Lyon, the game remained a scoreless affair until the Top of the 5th, when Otera doubled to deep left to score Cole from first. CMU added three more runs in the Top of the 6th to put the game out of reach, with a 4-0 victory. Senior ace Mason Schwellenbach tossed a complete game in his first start on the mound in 2021, giving up no runs on only two hits while striking out 10 batters.
