Kansas City, Mo. - After four-straight victories of Benedictine this past weekend, Central Methodist Baseball swept the Heart Player of the Week awards Monday.
Jeremy Conforti was named the Player of the Week while Alan West took home Pitcher of the Week honors.
Conforti, a sophomore from Villa Park, Ill. hit four home runs, including a double and seven RBI during the four-game stretch against the Ravens. In addition, he tallied 19 total bases and crossed the plate five times.
West, a graduate transfer from Lewisville, Texas, threw just the second no-hitter in program history Sunday. He struck out 10 batters and gave up just one walk. The lone run that came from BC was a sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning.
Central Baseball will begin a two-week road swing, starting with a four-game series against the Evangel Friday, April 7 at 1:00 p.m. in Springfield, Mo.
