Kansas City, Mo. - The Central Methodist Baseball program landed at No. 24 in the second edition of the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll, which was announced by the national office.
MidAmerica Nazarene is the only other Heart program represented in the national polls, as the Pioneers are currently receiving votes.
Central is currently 17-9 and 11-5 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. The Eagles are a perfect 4-0 at home and are 6-0 in neutral-site games.
CMU sits in third place in the Heart Regular Season standings and will play host to William Penn University this coming weekend at Estes Field.
The first pitch of game one will take place Friday, March 28, at 4:00 p.m.

Rating Methodology
- The rating was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the NAIA's baseball conferences.
- The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater's 30-team ballot. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed, and the team's ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appear on.
- Teams that receive only one point on the ballot are not considered "receiving votes".
