Why did you get into cheerleading/dancing?
I always looked up to cheerleaders as a kid and couldn't wait until I was old enough to do what they did. It has always been something I've been passionate about.
Name someone that impacted your life.
My grandparents.
Best advice you've received?
"Always focus on the positive of a situation and handle things as they come to you."
How did you end up at Central Methodist?
I fell in love with the campus when I came for a visit, and the small-town atmosphere automatically felt like home. Plus, receiving the option to cheer was the icing on the cupcake for me.�
Memorable moment as a child?
I vividly remember having countless wrestling matches with my cousins (all boys) who loved to destroy my Barbies.
If you weren't in sports, what would you be doing?
I would be getting a lot more sleep and working more.
What was your first job?
A lifeguard.
Biggest positive?
I had a really good tan.
First CD you ever purchased?
Hillary Duff's Metamorphosis.
If you had a time machine, what year (or decade) would you travel to?
Definitely the 1980s. It looked like so much fun!
Name one of your talents outside of cheer/dance.
Everyone always makes me do their hair and makeup, so I guess I'm kind of good at that.
Favorite childhood toys?
My Barbie cash register and Barbie jeep were definitely my favorites.
If you could have dinner with three people, who would you choose?
Ryan Gosling and my late great-grandparents one more time.
If you could speak to an audience for five minutes, what would it be about?
It would be about why everyone should eat a lot of ice cream.
What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
I hope to have a family and a career that I love.
How do you want to be remembered?
As a caring person that made people smile.
