ATCHISON, Kan. – The Central Methodist University coed cheer team continued its competition weekend at the Benedictine Challenge on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles finished with scores of 81.5, 81.7, and 79.95 from the three judges, earning an 81.05 subtotal. The squad finished with a total score of 80.05 points after being handed a one-point deduction. This is a 20.3-point improvement on last night's performance at the Baker Invitational.
Central Methodist finished third in the team standings. St. Ambrose (Iowa) University finished first with a final score of 89.45, followed by Missouri Valley College with 81.55 points.
Up next for the Eagles will be the Heart of America Athletic Conference Cheer & Dance Championship. Competition is set to begin on February 16th in Des Moines, Iowa.
