Plenge Named HAAC Defensive Player-of-the-Week

Central Methodist University junior defensive back Bryan Plenge (Kahoka, Mo.) was selected as the Heart of America Athletic Conference football defensive player-of-the-week, announced this morning.

Plenge received the award after helping CMU to a 42-5 win over Culver-Stockton on Saturday. Plenge grabbed his second career interception and returned it 53 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter against the Wildcats. He also tallied seven tackles and a pass breakup in the game for the Eagles.
