FAYETTE, Mo. - Central Methodist coach Jody Ford announced the rosters for the 2013 Green and White Spring Game on Tuesday. The intrasquad game will be played at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday at Davis Field.

Admission is free to the spring game, which will be carried with live video, radio and stats exclusively on cmueagles.com, starting at 5:50 p.m with the pregame show with KIRK's Adam Hildebrandt.

Eagles' fans are encouraged to bring canned food items that will be collected and distributed to the Fayette Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry as part of the university's Champions of Character program.

Ford, directing his first spring practice on campus after leading the Eagles in his first season as head coach, will coach the White team along with associate head coach and defensive backs coach Miguel Paredes, linebackers coach Armegis Spearman and defensive line coach Derek Lannigan. The 43-member White squad will feature all returning Eagles' defensive players.

The 29-member Green team, guided by new offensive coordinator John Haines, will feature all returning Central Methodist offensive players. Joining Haines on the Green staff will be quarterbacks coach Doug Brady, running backs coach Caleb Haynes and wide receivers coach Denver Price.

With Kaleb Borghardt� quarterbacking, the Green squad features a bevy of starters from the 2012 season, including offensive linemen Bo Amos, Jake McSpadden, Michael Tevaga, Blaize Faurot and Max Hotelling and wide receivers Paul Stevens and Jamall Williams. Mitchell Swan, who started at cornerback last season before switching to wide receiver in the spring, will also suit up for the Green team.

The White team features multiple returners from last season, including defensive linemen Hunter Kelly, Collin Sizemore and Taylor Combs, linebackers Conner White and Nicholas Wiley, cornerback Chris Porter and safety Ryan Restemeyer.

In addition to the intra-squad match-up of coach Ford's troops, the Central Methodist baseball team will play Heart of America Athletic Conference opponent Culver-Stockton (Mo.) in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m.

The Central Methodist softball team hosts Baker (Kan.) in a HAAC doubleheader at Cox Softball Complex starting at 1 p.m.

Also taking place that Saturday on campus will be the volleyball Spring Game in Puckett Fieldhouse at 11 a.m. and a women's soccer exhibition doubleheader.

The women's soccer team hosts William Penn (Iowa) and Westminster (Mo.) at Davis Field. The Eagles battle the Statesmen at 1 p.m. before squaring off with the Blue Jays at 4 p.m. William Penn and Westminster kickoff at 2:30 p.m.

As part of the gameday atmosphere, Central Methodist will once again be open for fans to come and enjoy tailgating prior to the football game and baseball doubleheader. Free copies of the Eagles' 2013 schedule poster will be distributed before the game while supplies last.

Eagles' fans are encouraged to make their across campus throughout the day for all activities.
