Baldwin City, Kan. - The Central Methodist Football program had a tall task Saturday afternoon, as they squared off against No. 17 nationally ranked Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas.

Central would ultimately fall to the Wildcats by a score of 62-7.

Baker capitilized on back-to-back pick sixes to take a 14-0 lead less than a minute into the game. The Wildcats extended their lead over Central on their first offensive possession, 21-0, and then reaching the endzone two more times before the end of the quarter.

BU tacked on three more touchdowns in the second to push their lead to 52-0 at the halftime break. A field goal for Baker in the third quarter made the score 55-0, before Central found the endzone at the 9:10 mark of the third quarter.

The Eagles' lone score of the game came following a 12 play, 75 yard drive that chewed up 6:38 on the clock. Central capped the drive with an 11 yard passing touchdown from Gavin Watts to Drake Dudley
