Kansas City, Mo. - Central Methodist senior defensive end Caleb Justice was named the Heart Football Special Teams Player of the Week by the conference office on Monday.
It marks the first conference honor for the native of Jefferson City, Mo.
Justice played a pivotal role on both special teams and the defensive side of the ball in CMU's game against Missouri Baptist this past Saturday.
In the opening minutes of the third quarter, he blocked a 38-yard field goal attempt by the Spartans. The Eagles ultimately returned the block for a 70-yard touchdown.
Additionally, Justice tallied six tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss.
Central will conclude its season against rival Missouri Valley College Saturday, Nov. 15, at 12:00 p.m. at Davis Field.
