Eric Franklin, Alex Barner, Elliott Black, Robert Mason Derek Kitch and student assistant Scott Davis will be recognized immediately following the conclusion of the women's basketball game.
Black Scores Career High in CMU's Latest Victory
Central Methodist senior forward Elliott Black has posted career bests this season in scoring against each opponent before playing Baker. The Saint Louis product poured in a career-high 34 points in last Saturday's 76-72 overtime win against Benedictine (Kan.). Black finished 14-of-19 from the field and 6-of-9 from the charity stripe in surpassing his previous career high of 28, which came in an 89-85 overtime win against Culver-Stockton on Jan. 17. Both wins also came inside Puckett Fieldhouse.
Black vs. Steinlage
Saturday's showdown will feature the two best shooters in the HAAC in Baker's Ben Steinlage and Central Methodist's Elliott Black. Steinlage leads the conference in field goal percentage at 53.7 percent, while Black is second with a 52.1 percent clip.
Both players turned in solid performances in the first battle this season. Black went for 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting and 3-of-6 from the free throw line. Steinlage, who led his team with 14 points, was 5-of-8 from the floor and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe.

Central Methodist's Melvin Tillman needs to continue his recent scoring success on Saturday for the Eagles to pull off a victory. The junior guard has scored in double figures in six of the last seven conference games, and the Green and Black are 5-2 during that stretch.
Despite having a banner day in 2011-12 at Baker with a career-high 33 points, the Richmond, Ind., native tallied a season-low one point in the first matchup on Jan. 19, 2013.
