Monday's regular-season finale is a makeup of a previously scheduled contest from Thursday, Feb. 21. Over 10 inches of snow hit Fayette and Canton last Thursday, forcing the postponement of the Eagles/Wildcats clash until Monday evening.
Central Methodist Excelling on Defense and Sharing the Ball
The Eagles are ranked second in the HAAC in assists and third in scoring defense. The Green and Black average 15.31 assists per game and allow only 65.1 points per game.
Bombs Away
Monday's battle features the top three-point shooting teams in the HAAC. Culver-Stockton, which leads the conference in scoring average (82.9 ppg), is the top team in the league when it comes to 3-point field goals made (322) and treys made per game (11.1). The Eagles are second in both categories with 216 made threes and 7.45 per game.
The Wildcats will have to contend with Central Methodist's 3-point defense, which ranks first in the HAAC. Opponents are converting only 29.2 percent from behind the arc against the Green and Black.
