Tillman turned in two of the best scoring games of his career last week for Central Methodist, averaging 33.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 63.6 percent from the field, 70.0 percent from three-point range and 77.3 percent at the free throw line.
The Eagles bounced back from a loss the previous weekend to win two games, starting with a triumph over 10th-ranked Culver-Stockton (Mo.) in which Tillman scored a career-high 34 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. He also hit 13-of-19 field goals in the game, including 4-of-5 from three-point range. He followed that up with 32 points on 8-of-14 shooting in a victory at Avila (Mo.) to move Central Methodist into a tie for third place.
Tillman will represent the conference in the running for the NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week, which will be announced no later than Tuesday afternoon through the end of the regular season.
