FAYETTE, Mo. - Central Methodist begins its final week of the regular season Thursday with a trip to Graceland (Iowa) for a 7:30 p.m. CT tip-off inside the Closson Center in Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) action.

Fans not travelling to Lamoni, Iowa, can follow the game via live video and statistics online and through updates on Central Methodist's Twitter account (@cmueagles).

Graceland has lost 12-straight games, a streak that includes five-consecutive at home.

Graceland ranks 50th in NAIA Division I in turnover margin (0.0). Carl Martin is 40th in steals per game (1.7). Trey Sathoff is 40th in free throw percentage (0.796).

Central Methodist Notes

Coach Jeff Sherman is one of only five active NAIA Division I men's basketball head coaches to have been at the helm for 30 or more seasons. Sherman is five wins shy of the 550 plateau, which only six active head coaches have surpassed.

Central Methodist has won five of the last six games against the Yellowjackets, including three-straight in Lamoni.

Central Methodist, MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) and Avila (Mo.) are in a three-way tie for sixth place in the league standings, an important spot as the top six teams receive a bye in the newly-expanded 10-team conference tournament.

Mitchell Farr has averaged 17.1 points in conference games this season and has scored in double figures in 14-straight games overall.

Farr became the 35th Central Methodist player to join the 1,000-point club in Saturday's two-point loss to MidAmerica Nazarene. He currently has 1,017 points, good for 34th on the school's all-time scoring list, just ahead of Travis Day (1,000 points, 1994-96) and 14 points behind passing Bernard King (1977-81).

Central Methodist leads NAIA Division I in assists (479) and ranks third in assist/turnover ratio (1.3), eighth in 3-pointers made (242), 15th in scoring offense (2244), 15th in rebound margin (5.1) and scoring margin (11.3), 18th in rebound defense (33.1), 20th in 3-point field goal percentage (0.373) and 22nd in turnover margin (2.3) and 3-point field goal percentage defense (0.318).

The Eagles are 19-11 in their last 30 conference games.

Cody Anderson ranks fourth in NAIA Division I in assist/turnover ratio (3.2) and 41st in assists (95). Farr is 11th in 3-pointers made (78) and 35th in scoring (457). Scott Stegeman is 21st in offensive rebounds per game (2.9) and 24th in rebounds (211).

The Eagles are 12-3 when Quinten Hunter scores 12 or more points in a contest.

Central Methodist is 16-5 when making at least 10 free throws in a game.

Mike McCode has scored in double figures in 15 of the last 17 games.
