Behind the C: Mitchell Farr
Mitchell Farr�is a senior from Racine, Wis., on the men's basketball team and became the 35th member of the Eagles' 1,000-point club last Saturday. He has scored 1,027 career points in only 60 games.

Last book you read?
The Hobbit�by�J. R. R. Tolkien.

Hobbies?
Playing any sports.

Name a guilty pleasure.
Watching Law and Order: SVU.

Why did you get into basketball?
Because all of my older siblings played.

Name someone that impacted your life.
My basketball trainer, Jameel Ghuari.

Best advice you've received?
"Always be the person I am and never pretend to be someone I'm not."

How did you end up at Central Methodist?
I got recruited by Coach (Charlie) Wilson and was offered a scholarship and then accepted.

Memorable moment as a child?
Making it to the Sweet 16 in the AAU national tournament that had over 100 teams in it.

If you weren't in sports, what would you be doing?
Going to school and working.

What was your first job?
Cashier at Taco Bell.

First CD you ever purchased?
8 Mile by Eminem.

If you had a time machine, what year would you travel to?
2011 to relive my senior year of high school.

Name one of your talents outside of basketball.
Playing football.

Favorite childhood toys?
Army toys.

If you could have dinner with three people, who would you choose?
Stephen Curry, Michael Jordan and Barack Obama.

If you could speak to an audience for five minutes, what would it be about?
Taking their academics very serious and trying their hardest.

What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
Coaching college basketball.

How do you want to be remembered?
I want to be remembered for being an all-around good guy.
