Fayette, Mo. The Central Methodist University men's basketball team have won three straight games and six out of their last seven to improve to 9-4 overall on the season. On Tuesday, the NAIA released their second regular season Top 25 Poll of the year, with the Eagles earning the 22^nd rank in the Nation.

Following the Thanksgiving break, Central Methodist has gone 6-1, including a win over current 15^th ranked Lindsey Wilson College from Kentucky. The lone loss for the Eagles during this stretch, was a close road loss to Avila University; who are currently receiving votes in the latest Top 25 Poll.

Other Heart of America Athletic Conference teams that showed up in this week's poll include: William Penn University (5^th), MidAmerica Nazarene University (19^th), and Benedictine College (RV).

The Eagles return to the hardwood on Wednesday evening, when they host conference foe Baker University. It will be a doubleheader at Puckett Field House, with the Lady Eagles getting things started at 5:30pm. The men will follow, with an approximate tip time set for 7:30pm.
