Kansas City, Mo. - Three members of the Central Methodist men's basketball program earned Honorable Mention All-Conference honorees, as announced by the Heart office Thursday afternoon. 

The three Eagles to earn the honors were all newcomers including; Fode Camara, Jonathan Brown and Chandler Bevans. 

Camara, a senior forward from Queens, N.Y. finished third on the team in scoring, averaging 11.63 points/game. He also led the Eagles and was third in the Heart in rebounding with 9.42 boards/game. Camara also recorded nine double-doubles in his lone season in an Eagle uniform, good for third best in the conference. 

Midseason transfer Jonathan Brown was a welcome addition to the CMU lineup, appearing in 10 games and averaging a team leading 13.4 points/game. He reached double figures in nine of 10 contests including a season high 19 points at Benedictine on Jan. 9. 

Bevans rounded out the honorable mention honors for CMU, as the junior transfer from Kahoka, Mo. finished the year with 305 points, averaging 12.71 points/game. Bevans shot 50.2-percent from the field 38-percent beyond the arc. He reached double figures in 17 of 24 games including three over 20 points. 

The Eagles finished the season with an 11-13 overall mark and an 8-11 record in Heart play, winning three of their final four games of 2021.
