Warrensburg, Mo. - The Central Methodist men's basketball program fell to the University of Central Missouri in an exhibition contest 74-65 Thursday evening in Warrensburg, Mo.
Central landed three Eagles in double figures, led by Josh Noton who tallied 18 points including a perfect eight-of-eight from the charity stripe. Everett Stubblefield and James Jordan each recorded 10 points, and Jordan nearly tallied a double-double with nine rebounds.
Thomas Sowoolu added eight rebounds paired with six points, while Isaiah May grabbed seven rebounds. Overall, the Eagles outrebounded the Mules 39-33.
Central returns home to host Graceland University in the Heart Conference opener Monday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
