Oskaloosa, Iowa - The Central Methodist Men's Basketball team fell to No. 25 William Penn 89-72 Saturday afternoon in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
With the defeat, Central falls to 5-4 and 3-2 in the conference, while the Statesmen improve to 9-2 and 5-0 in the Heart.
James Jordan led the CMU offense with 20 points on eight-of-18 shooting from the floor. He also recorded four rebounds, four assists, and a block.
Josh Noton also landed in double figures with 16 points while Everett Stubblefield rounded out the double-digit scorers with 15 points. The sophomore guard also recorded six rebounds, three steals, two assists, and a block.
William Penn was extremely efficient when moving the ball, recording 21 assists on 35 of its made baskets. The Statesmen also outrebounded CMU 51-34, of which 15 came on the offensive glass.
Central will return home to host Culver-Stockton College Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m. in Puckett Field House.
