Kansas City, Mo. - Central Methodist Men's Basketball graduate player James Jordan earned Honorable Mention All-America nods by the national office Tuesday.
The native of Detroit, Mich., was tabbed as the Heart Newcomer of the Year and a First Team All-Conference selection in his lone season with the Eagles.
Jordan had a terrific season for CMU, averaging 18.5 points/game on 50 percent shooting from the floor and 43.4 percent from long range.
In addition, the native of Detroit, Mich. averaged 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists/game. He was named the Heart Player of the Week on Nov. 28 and had his best game of the year against No. 7 William Penn on Feb. 18, scoring 30 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the floor.
Jordan led the Eagles to a 17-12 record and an appearance in the Heart Conference postseason Tournament in February.
