Kansas City, Mo. - After a career night against Missouri Valley College, Central Methodist senior guard Marcus Anthony was named the Heart Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week by the conference Monday.
It marks the first Heart weekly award for the Jefferson City, Missouri native in his career.
Anthony led Central to a 92-82 victory over the Vikings last Tuesday inside Puckett Field House. He dropped a career-high 30 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the floor. Additionally, he was perfect eight-for-eight from the charitry stripe and knocked down two three-point baskets.
Anthony and the Eagles remain at home to host first place Baker University Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
