Lamoni, Iowa - The Central Methodist Men's Basketball team dropped its second-straight road game in a 76-60 loss to Graceland University Saturday evening in Lamoni, Iowa.
CMU now stands at 7-6 and 4-5 in the Heart, while GU improves to 11-1 and 7-1 in conference action.
Destin Jenkins led the Eagles with 15 points while also adding three steals and two rebounds. He finished the night with three of Central's four three-point baskets.
Kevin James recorded his second-highest point total of the season, scoring 12 points in 22 minutes off the bench.
Marcus Anthony followed with 11 points, four rebounds, and a steal while Kai Jordan was the final Eagle to land in double figures with 10 points.
The Yellowjackets were better in all three phases of shooting, shooting 54.7 percent from the field, 43.5 percent from three and 80 percent from the charity stripe.
CMU was outrebounded by Graceland, 31-20.
Central returns home for its final home game of 2024 against Peru State College Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
