Kansas City, Mo. - For the third time in the last four weeks, Central Methodist senior forward Raphael Gay earned Heart of America Player of the Week honors by the conference office on Monday. 

Gay has now been recognized as the Defensive Player of the Week twice. He took home defensive honors on December 1st and earned offensive recognition on December 15th. 

The senior from Paris, France, turned in one of the most complete performances of the season against Hesston College last Tuesday. He controlled the paint on both ends, finishing with 15 rebounds, including nine on the defensive glass, while also recording a steal and a block. 

Additionally, Gay poured in a game-high 33 points on 12-of-14 shooting, while also going a perfect nine-for-nine from the free-throw line. He finished the night with a double-double, his sixth of the season. 

Gay and the Eagles are off until the New Year, and will next travel to Des Moines, Iowa, to take on Grand View University Saturday, Jan. 3 at 4:00 p.m.
