FULTON, Mo. - The Central Methodist University men's and women's golf teams sits in third place after the first day of the William Woods Fall Invitational.�
The Central Methodist men's team carded a 296 on the Par-72 course Monday, while the women's team carded a 381.
On the men's side, Ty Lieberman is tied for second place after shooting a three-under 68 for the Eagles. Nathaniel Oliver is tied for fifth with a 71. Brad Howell entered the clubhouse after day one tied for 25th with a 78.
For the Central Methodist women's team,�Kelli Esquivel is tied for 16th after firing a 19-over 91. Alannah Hystead sits tied for 18th overall after shooting a 94. Ashley Spaulding is close behind, tied for 21st with a day-one total of 97.
The Eagles will finish play in the William Woods Fall Invitational on Tuesday.
