KANSAS CITY - Central Methodist freshman Jacob Williams has been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

Williams shot a three-under overall to win the Missouri Valley Spring Invitational at Indian Foothills Golf Course last week. The Eagles finished fourth.

Williams, who was named to the All-Tournament Team, outdistanced second-place finishers Tyler Barr and Cody Reiber of Culver-Stockton (Mo.) by four strokes.
