LAWRENCE, Kan. - Central Methodist sits in ninth place after shooting a 670 (340-330) on the first day of the Baker (Kan.) Invitational at the�par 72, 7,092-yard Championship Course at Alvamar.�The Eagles'�Jacob Williams�is in seventh place after shooting a 78 in each of the first two rounds.
Trailing Williams is�Austin Rapp, who is tied for 36th after firing a 166 (84-82).�Brendan Ross�is tied for 45th after shooting a 173 (88-85). Kyle Nolawski (92-85) and Greg Pitzer (90-87) are tied for 51st after each player shot a combined 177. Jordan Haag and Tyler Steger,�playing as medalists, sit 57th and 58th, respectively, after shooting a 187 (88-99) and 190 (101-89).
Rockhurst (Mo.) is in first place with a 624 (310-314). Bryce McEachern of Graceland (Iowa) leads the pack with a 146 (75-71).
The final round begins Thursday at 8 a.m. CT.
