Marshall, Mo. – The Central Methodist University men's golf team took part in the Missouri Valley College Fall Invite on Tuesday afternoon, at the Indian Foothills Golf Course in Marshall, Missouri. Central finished the invite tied for seventh place with Kansas City Kansas Community College.
The Eagles "A" Team, was led Tuesday by Kyle Sachs (FR/Troy, Mo.). He finished with a round of 72, just four strokes over par and tied for 17th place individually. Eric Vander Linden (SO/Boonville, Mo.) finished in 38th place with a round of 83, while Brendan Ross (SR/Louisiana, Mo.) finished with an 84 and Greg Pitzer (SR/Louisiana, Mo.) finished with a round of 85.
The Eagles "B" Team finished in eleventh place, and were led by Braden Campbell (FR/Strafford, Mo.)'s round of 88. Andrew Wooldridge (SO/Columbia, Mo.) finished with a round of 89, while Grant Vollrath (JR/Monroe City, Mo.) finished with a 91.
Missouri Valley College won the invite, with a total score of 289. Graceland's Ujang Zarems won first place individually, with a round of 69.
The Eagles close out their fall season on October 24th and 25th in Columbia, Missouri at the Columbia College Fall Invitational.
