Columbia, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Golf program took two teams to the Columbia College Spring Invitational for their first tournament action of 2025 this week. 

The two-day tournament was held at the Columbia Country Club and featured 86 total golfers representing 10 different schools. 

Central's A Team finished tied for seventh with a two-round score of 619, while the B team placed 14th with a score of 655. 

Cole Wiese was Central's highest placer, as the sophomore tallied a two-round score of 152 to finish 24th. Carter Jackson also landed in the Top 30 with a T-28th place standing, finishing one stroke back of Wiese at 153. 

Central's Brock Jenkins (37th - 156), Cylas Worley (T-42nd - 158), Garrett Rikel (T-49th - 159), Zachary Krantz (T-49th - 159), Keenan James (T-55th - 161), John Howle (T-63rd - 163), Travis Allen (79th - 177), and Jaylen King (83rd - 199) also competed at the Invite. 

Central will next host the CMU Spring Invitational beginning Monday, March 24 at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville, Missouri.
