The Central Methodist University men's soccer team finished with 33 shots, but was unable to put any in the net as the Eagles played to a 0-0 double-overtime draw with Ottawa University Tuesday night.

Central Methodist out-shot Ottawa 33-17 in the match, including 16-0 in the first half, but was unable to come away with any goals. Some of CMU's best scoring opportunities came in the second overtime, when the Eagles had four corner kicks. The Eagles had 11 shots on goal in the match, compared with six for Ottawa. Senior goalkeeper Brent Tegerdine (Columbia, Mo.) finished with six saves in 110 minutes in goal for CMU.

Central Methodist is now 3-2-1 on the season, while Ottawa is 1-4-1. The Eagle men, who are now 3-0-1 at home, will play their fifth consecutive home match Friday when they take on University of St. Mary in a 7 p.m. contest at Davis Field.
