Central Methodist University sophomore Murun Altankhuyag (Mongolia) was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference men's soccer offensive player-of-the-week after scoring three goals in two matches for the Eagles last week.

Altankhuyag scored a pair of goals in CMU's 4-0 win at Central Christian College of the Bible on Oct. 18. He followed that up with the Eagles' lone goal in a 3-1 setback against Avila University Saturday. Altankhuyag's three goals came on just six shots on goal for the week. He now has a team-leading eight goals this season for CMU.
