Hannibal, Mo. - The Central Methodist University men's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season with a 1-0 setback Saturday afternoon at No. 21-ranked Hannibal-LaGrange University.
The Eagles (5-1-1) saw their six-game unbeaten streak to open 2012 snapped at Blackwell Field.
Forward Juan Rodriguez scored the lone goal of the game in the 32nd minute for the Trojans (4-2). Midfielders Felipe Silva and Agustin Concha were credited with assists on the play.
Goalkeeper Colby Keller made six saves for Hannibal-LaGrange.�
Central Methodist goalkeeper Corey Schelle recorded four saves.
The Eagles will travel to Park University on Tuesday, Sept. 25. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.
