KANSAS CITY, Mo. � Central Methodist forward Erwin Sanchez, Jr. was selected the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Offensive Player of the Week�on Monday morning.
The Eagles completed a 2-1 week of play, capped off by a win in the conference opener on Sunday at Baker (Kan.).
A junior from Sucre, Bolivia, Sanchez, Jr. scored twice in a 3-0 midweek win over Bethany (Kan.) and played significant�minutes against both Baker and Park (Mo.).
Sanchez, Jr. will represent the HAAC for the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week award, which will be handed out no later than Tuesday afternoon.
