OLATHE, Kan. - No. 21 MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) defeated Central Methodist 5-0 Saturday at Pioneer Field.

MidAmerica Nazarene (9-3-1, 1-1) broke through in the 42nd minute.� Eddie Morales crossed the ball into the box and Niklas Larsson was able to get a toe on the ball and deflect it into the net for the opening goal.�

The Pioneers added four goals in the second half with the benefit of being a man up.

Chris Eriksson earned the shutout with two saves for the Pioneers.�

Guilherme Frota and Daniel Vieira each had a shot on goal for Central Methodist (6-4-1, 0-2).

Carlos Ribera started the game in goal for the Eagles and played 15:13, making one save. He gave way to German Schacht, who made four saves the rest of the way.

The Eagles host No. 10 Missouri Valley on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Kickoff from Davis Field is set for 7:30 p.m. CT.
