FAYETTE, Mo. - Graceland (Iowa) scored a goal in the 80th minute to defeat Central Methodist 1-0 in Heart of America Athletic Conference action Saturday at Davis Field.

Saturday's contest marked the final home match for eight Eagles' seniors: Diego Guzman, Tyler Neis, Luis Costa, Kendell Campbell, Mykhael Bain, Carlos Ribera, Sean Tobeler and Daniel Arrazola.

Mario Ayala broke a scoreless tie in the 80th minute when he took a pass from Ryan Schlom and scored his second goal this season for Graceland (5-10-1, 2-3).

Central Methodist (8-8, 1-4) outshot the Yellowjackets, 17-8, and held an edge in corner kicks, 11-1.

Guilherme da Silveira posted a game-high five shots for the Green and Black.

The Eagles travel to Culver-Stockton (Mo.) on Wednesday, Oct. 29, for a 3 p.m. CT kickoff.
