With the tie, Central Methodist University moves to 3-0-1 on the season, while Hannibal-LaGrange sees their record move to 0-1-1.

"Hannibal is always a good team when it comes to men's soccer and they played well tonight," said CMU head coach Alex Nichols. "We were very unlucky with the few chances we had tonight. The ball just didn't bounce our way tonight."

Friday evening's contest was an aggressive match. The two teams combined for four yellow cards, one red card and a bunch of fouls.

Ferran Borras-Marques played all 110 minutes in net for the Eagles and made seven saves on the evening.

Richard Osterloh paced the offense with five shots on the evening, three of them were on goal.

The Eagles return to action on Tuesday September 8th, when they travel to face William Woods University at 5pm.
