Kansas City, Mo. - Eight members of the Central Methodist Men's Soccer team were named 2022 Daktronics NAIA Men's Soccer Scholar-Athletes by the national office Monday. 

Alec Bell, Alessandro Lacerti, Austin Snow, Jonathan Culleton, Lucas Icarte, Mark Csongradi, Tom Irion, and Vitor Antelo respresented CMU. 

The group are among nearly 1,000 men's soccer players from across the country to be recognized. 

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
