Medaglia and Schimmel Earn Heart Second Team All-Conference Honors

Medaglia and Schimmel Earn Heart Second Team All-Conference Honors

Kansas City, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Soccer program garnered two Heart of America All-Conference selections, which were announced by the conference office earlier this week.

Sophomore midfielder Giulian Medaglia and senior forward Koen Schimmel were both named to the second team.

Medaglia has appeared and started in all 19 games for the Eagles this season, dishing out four total assists and tallying a .412 shooting percentage on goal. This marks the first all-conference honor for Medaglia.

Schimmel is now a two-time Heart Second Team All-Conference selection, as he previously earned the distinction in 2023. The senior from the Netherlands has played in all 19 of CMU's matches, starting 18.

To date, Schimmel has scored six goals and tallied three assists for a total of 15 points. He also has a shooting percentage of .480 on goal.
