FAYETTE, Mo. — The Central Methodist men's wrestling team raced out to a 12-0 lead after three bouts, but Graceland ran off 27 straight points to prevail on Wednesday night, 27-15.

Ray Hamilton (FR/Paducah, Ky.) received a forfeit to start the night off at 125 pounds. Andrew Godier (FR/Saint Peters, Mo.) picked up an exciting 6-4 win at 133 pounds.

Tallon Heimbach (FR/Springfield, Mo.) electrified the crowd with a barn-burner at 141 pounds, picking up a 7-5 victory with a takedown in overtime. Graceland would emerge victorious in the next six bouts to clinch the victory.

Cody Imbierowicz (FR/St. Charles, Mo.) punctuated the night with a workmanlike 11-4 decision at 285 pounds. Imbierowicz held a 1-0 lead heading into the third period, but busted the match open with a six-point bear hug throw on the edge of the mat.

Up next for Central Methodist will be a trip to Baldwin City, Kan. for the Baker Open on Sunday, Nov. 10.
