ATCHISON, Kan. – The Central Methodist University men's wrestling team fell to Benedictine College on Friday evening in the final dual of the season.
The Eagles jumped out to a 12-0 start after picking up a pair of wins in open weight classes but went on to surrender six of the next eight bouts to close out the contest. Alex Drmac (FR/Saint Peters, Mo.) earned a win at the 197 weight class with a 3-2 decision, followed by Cody Imbierowicz (FR/St. Charles, Mo.) who secured a pin in 1:14 for the 285 weight class.
Central is set to close out the regular season on February 22nd at the Heart of America Men's Wrestling Conference Championship. The event will be hosted at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan.
