St. Louis, Mo. - The (RV) Central Methodist men's wrestling team opened the 2021-22 regular season with a 51-0 dual victory over Missouri Baptist University Wednesday night in St. Louis, Mo. 

It marks the first dual shut out in program history. 

The Eagles rattled off three-straight wins to open the dual, as Colton King won his bout at 125-pounds, while Cole Patten and Jacob Sinn recorded back-to-back pins at 133 and 141-pounds respectively. 

After a forfeit in the 149-pound weight class, Tallon Heimbach secured a 3-0 decision at 157-pounds, pushing Central's lead to 24-0. 

Justin McEnaney followed at 165-pounds and won his bout by a 5-0 decision. Troy Jordan recorded his first win in the 174-pound class, before the next two weight classes were open. 

Brenden Shelton, the No. 18 ranked wrestler at 285-pounds completed the 51-0 victory with a pin in the first period. 

The Eagles will next complete against No. 1 nationally ranked Grand View University Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 7:00 p.m. in Des Moines, Iowa.
