Des Moines, Iowa - The No. 21 Central Methodist Men's Wrestling team took part in a double dual Thursday night in Des Moines, Iowa. 

No. 21 Central, (RV) Briar Cliff, and No. 1 Grand View took part in the double dual. CMU took on the Chargers first, defeating BC 38-6, before closing the evening out with a 37-6 loss to the Vikings.  

Against Briar Cliff, the Eagles won nine of the 10 weight classes, with the only points given up came at 133 pounds, which was open on CMU's side. 

Colton King and Austin Foye both picked up wins over ranked opponents in the 125 and 285 weight classes respectively. 

Central's two individual wins against Grand View came courtesy of Roman Garcia and Jacob Ruff at 174 and 285 pounds.

Garcia, ranked No. 6, picked up a nationally ranked win over No. 10 Braden Anderson by a 7-4 Decision. Ruff earned a win over Grand View's Carter Smuck on a tiebreaker, 8-4. 

Central is now 2-1 in duals this season, and will next compete in the Grand View Open Saturday, Nov. 16 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in Des Moines, Iowa.
