Des Moines, Iowa - The Central Methodist Men's Wrestling program competed in the highly touted Grand View Open Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa. 

The tournament featured 60 programs from across the country in the NAIA, junior college and NCAA divisions. Central was represented by 18 wrestlers in 12 different weight classes. 

Freshman Cilus Cabral competed in the freshman/sophomore 125 pound division, where he posted a 4-2 record including two wins via pin and one Tech Fall. 

Fellow freshman Jacob Ruff finished the day with a 3-2 record in the freshman/sophomore 197 pound division. Ruff's wins came courtesy of a pin, sudden victory, and a narrow 3-2 decision. 

Central returns to dual action against Heart of America foe William Penn University Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7:00 p.m. in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
