Warrensburg, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Wrestling team took part in the Roger Denker Open, hosted by the University of Central Missouri Sunday in nearby Warrensburg, Mo. 

The meet featured a number of NAIA, Division II, Division III and junior college programs from Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska. 

Redshirt junior Jake Henson placed fifth in the 197 pound division with a 3-2 record. 

Cilus Cabral, Brian Hill, Couper Deckard, Gavin Shoush, Weston Ward, Nevertesonne Lahens, Alex Husen, Jared Wright, Drake Jenkins, Lane Patterson, Sebastian Nunez, Gambal Staddie, Peyton Asbury, and Mark Whalen also competed for the Eagles. 

Central will next compete at the Missouri Valley Invite beginning Friday, Jan. 24 at 9:00 a.m. in Marshall, Mo.
