No. 16 Central Defeats (RV) Baker in Heart Dual

Fayette, Mo. - The No. 16 Central Methodist Men's Wrestling program secured a 28-16 home dual win over fellow Heart school, (RV) Baker University Thursday night inside Puckett Field House. 
 
With the win, Central improves its overall dual record to 8-2 on the year. 
 
The Eagles struggled early on, dropping their first two dual at 125 and 133 pounds. Sophomore Charlie Fitzgerald earned Central's first win of the night with a 10-1 Major Decision at 141 pounds.
 
After falling in the next two weight classes, Central won five consecutive duals at 165, 174, 184, 197 and 285 pounds. 
 
CMU is set to compete in the Missouri Valley Open Saturday, Feb. 1 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in Marshall, Mo.
